Marine Corporal Carlos Garcia and his family now have a fully furnished backyard patio and outdoor dining space in their Homes For Our Troops home just in time for the holidays – thanks to our partners at Wayfair.
Homes For Our Troops has partnered with Wayfair, one of the world’s largest online destinations for the home, to furnish homes for a few HFOT Veterans and their families, as well as raise awareness about HFOT’s mission of building and donating specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans. Most recently, Wayfair worked with HFOT home recipient Cpl Garcia to create an accessible backyard patio and dining space for him and his family at their HFOT home in Southern California. Wayfair designers transformed their patio into a relaxing and private getaway, while keeping the space accessible and easy to navigate for Carlos.
