A specially adapted custom home not only benefits our Veterans, but their entire family. Our latest PSA is from the point of view of 10-year-old Victor Putt, the son of HFOT home recipient Army Specialist Adam Putt. In the video, Victor describes how much it means to him that his dad is living in a barrier-free environment.
“Homes For Our Troops built this house and it is basically made for my dad. He can get through the wide doorways. When he is making our lunch, he can reach anything that we need. He’ll help me build tiny projects. Life is good here. Without Homes For Our Troops, we wouldn’t be living in a home that has all these features that help him,” Victor says.
