On Tuesday, April 29th, HFOT National Partner Leonardo DRS, a leading provider of advanced defense technologies, kicked off Military Appreciation Month at their annual summit. HFOT leadership, staff, and HFOT home recipient Army Staff Sergeant Luke Murphy were invited to celebrate the philanthropic partnership along with Military Service Organizations Blue Star Families and Move United Warfighters.
HFOT President/CEO Brigadier General USA (RET) Tom Landwermeyer spoke at a panel session about how support from corporate partners advances HFOT’s mission of building and donating specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans nationwide.
Homes For Our Troops then joined representatives from Blue Star Families and Move United Warfighters at the NASDAQ Stock Market Bell Ceremony where Leonardo DRS CEO William J. Lynn III rang the Closing Bell.
