This year, Homes For Our Troops is proud and honored to celebrate our 20th anniversary of Building Homes and Rebuilding Lives! What began in 2004 as an offer from a Massachusetts general contractor to build a home for a severely injured post-9/11 Soldier has now, twenty years later, evolved into the Homes For Our Troops of today, a thriving, four-star rated, national charity with over 65 employees.
We could not possibly have reached this milestone without the continued commitment of our patriotic donors, supporters, corporate partners, and volunteers. Since our inception, HFOT has built and donated over 370 homes in 45 states. We currently have more than 70 home-build projects in various stages of construction nationwide. Our goal is to build a specially adapted custom home for every Veteran who qualifies—a goal we share with you, our valued mission supporters. It is your generosity that fuels our organization and keeps our momentum going.
Throughout the year, we will commemorate this significant milestone by celebrating momentous events, sharing Veteran stories and testimonials, as well as taking every opportunity to highlight our deep appreciation for your support over the past 20 years.
