On Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, e-commerce leader Wayfair will be matching donations made to HFOT through give-at-checkout on their site up to $25,000. You do not need to make a purchase in order to make a donation. You can make a contribution to HFOT on the company’s website here.
This initiative continues Wayfair’s partnership with Homes For Our Troops. In addition to the give-at-checkout, Wayfair has teamed up with HFOT to furnish homes for a few Veterans and their families, as well as raise awareness about the organization’s mission of building and donating specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans. Most recently, Wayfair worked with Marine Corporal Carlos Garcia to create an accessible backyard patio and dining space for him and his family at their HFOT home in Southern California.
