There’s nothing more important to a father than the well-being of his children. Because of HFOT’s donors and sponsors, fathers like Army Sergeant Nick Koulchar are able to care for their kids without boundaries. In his HFOT home, Nick has no trouble reading his two-year-old son Finnegan a bedtime story or helping his wife Dani comfort their newborn son Crosby.
“I don’t have to wait for assistance if my kids need me. I can tend to any of their needs with no restrictions because the home is completely barrier-free,” Nick says. “The home allows me to focus on my family and not worry about what I can or cannot do with them.”
