Your help in giving the gift of a specially adapted custom home to the Veterans we serve means so much more than any present under the Christmas tree. The moment Army Sergeant Robert “Finn” Visbal received his keys in October, he no longer saw his home as an obstacle but as an opportunity to recover and grow. He is now able to focus on finishing his degree in welding and pursue a career. Most importantly, Finn is now able to share more special moments with his wife Holley and their toddler son Johnny.
“The greatest benefit I have received from this home is that I can be a better husband and father. Since I don’t have to worry about the stairs anymore it’s easier for me help around the house. I can access my son’s room now, and can play with him and all of his toys. Thank you for helping me find more freedom and independence.”
You have made 2018 a truly memorable year for Finn and the other 22 severely injured Veterans who received homes this year. It is because of your generosity, these Veterans are able to continue rebuilding their lives by expanding their families, continuing their schooling, and pursuing careers.
