On June 5, 2020, Homes For Our Troops, along with our Regional Partner H-E-B, presented Army Sergeant Mario Lopez and his family with the keys to their specially adapted custom home in New Braunfels, Texas, during an intimate, low-attendance Key Ceremony that adhered to local and regional CDC guidelines. Thank you for supporting Homes For Our Troops and the building of the Lopez Family’s forever home. Though you were not able to join SGT Lopez in-person for this occasion, we hope you will enjoy the video below of the ceremony.
While the current COVID-19 outbreak prevents us from holding our traditional build events right now, we are not delaying Veterans with active builds from moving into their homes.
It is especially crucial for injured Veterans to have a safe and comfortable environment during times like these. Your generosity has provided Mario Lopez with a home where he can continue rebuilding his life. We deeply appreciate your support of Mario Lopez and Homes For Our Troops.
