SPC JASON M. SCHULZ

Eagle, WI

Mission Accomplished on March 13, 2010

Army Specialist Jason M. Schulz was returning from a vehicle recovery mission in November 2007 when the Salvage and Recovery Wrecker he was riding in struck an improvised explosive device (IED) in Mosul, Iraq. The blast ripped through the door on the right side of the truck, hitting the location where SPC Schulz was seated, resulting in the loss of both of his legs. After first being airlifted to Germany, SPC Schulz arrived at Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas to begin his recovery process.

Jason hopes to enter a college program for business management or mechanical engineering in the future. He has dreams of one day opening his own business. Jason and his wife, Lina, are happy to be living near family in Wisconsin.

Homes For Our Troops is proud to have presented this home to Jason and Lina on March 13, 2010.
