This year we have 100 charity marathon bibs and welcome all pre-registered marathon and 10K participants.

 
New this year - Every participant using a charity bib MUST reach their minimum fundraising goal of $500 before being registered as a runner in the MCM.
Your $500 minimum commitment must be met by August 1, 2014.

If you received a spot for the MCM through lottery, you are welcome to join our team as a pre-registered runner!

Pre-registered runners have until race day to reach their minimum commitment.

Expo opening ceremonies commence at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Guests of the Expo are invited to visit over 200 vendor booths covering a range of activities & interests.

Race Packet Pick-Up

All participants in the Marine Corps Marathon and 10K are required to attend Packet Pick-up, located at the Health & Fitness Expo to retrieve their bib with B-tag & MCM Event Program. Runners are required to bring their E-confirmation card & a photo ID.

Runners are highly encouraged to pick up their own race materials and to verify information to be avoid incorrect personal data or finish results. If picking up a packet for another runner, please bring a completed Packet Release Form, your e-confirmation card and the runner's photo ID. E-confirmation cards will be emailed to runners in early October.

Packet Pick-up is not available on race morning. It is highly recommended that you try to attend packet pick-up on Thursday or Friday. Due to unforeseen problems, the lines at packet pick-up can be very long and unavoidable. We have found the crowds on Thursday and Friday are not as large as Saturday's, and the lines seem to be shorter.

Spend the evening with your teammates! A casual, fun dinner to get to know each other and meet HFOT staff and veterans.

Team HFOT Cheering Brigade 
We give each runner two free neon yellow t-shirts for your fan club to wear on race day! These will help you spot your friends & hfot_assets/cs--fundraising/723882-1060-0031s-Smallfamily along the route!

Our favoriter cheering spot is in front of the Doubletree Crystal City, at miles 22 & 24. See your runner go one way, turn around and come back the other! Easy access from the Pentagon City Metro Station, so you can hop on the Metro and meet your runner at the Finish Line!

Team HFOT has a tent on Charity Hill at the Finish Line! Use this as an easy meet up location, grab a snack, freshen up, and hang out with other Team HFOT runners before heading back to your hotel. Stay tuned for details, including instructions on how to get to the tent.

Locations Recommended by MCM:

      • MCM Start Line – Watch the Opening Ceremonies from Route 110 in Arlington.
      • The Lincoln Memorial - You’ll be able to see runners at mile 10 and mile 16.
      • The National Mall - You’ll see runners at miles 18 and 19.
      • Crystal City - You’ll see all the race action at miles 22 and 23, plus engage in a variety of activities at Crystal Run including live music, and plenty of family fun.
      • MCM Finish Line - The finish line offers bleacher seating to watch the final ascent and push to the finish. Plan to reunite with runners in the family link up area at the Finish Festival in Rosslyn.
